Fleischer’s Welcomes George Sparks, Quality Assurance Manager

Fleischer’s Bagels is pleased to announce the appointment of George Sparks as Quality Assurance Manager.

George possesses over 30 years of progressive quality assurance and plant management experience with companies including SportService (Delaware North), Cling Surface, General Mills, Day Spring – Rainbow Pops, Freezer Queen Foods, Pallet Services and Harvest Time Bread Company.  At Fleischer’s, he will lead all aspects of our quality and food safety initiatives including our new Quality Cell Program.

A Buffalo, New York native, George was born into the industry. His parents operated a full-scale bakery specializing in handmade breads and cakes that he managed after earning a pre-law degree from the University at Buffalo.

George currently resides in Hamburg, New York with his wife Karen.
