Fleischer’s Bagels is Now Bakewise Brands

MACEDON, NEW YORK – There is a fresh new name making its way from the bakery to homes and fine restaurants across the country.

Fleischer’s Bagels, Inc. announced today that it its marking its 40th anniversary by unveiling a new corporate identity – Bakewise Brands. The new name integrates Fleischer’s earlier acquisition of Tom Cat Bakery while leveraging the combined resources of the two popular bakery product producers.

The Bakewise Brands portfolio features a broad mix of fresh, refrigerated and frozen bakery products, including such popular brands as Fleischer’s™ Bagels, Blue Rooster™ Breakfast Sandwiches and Tom Cat Bakery™ Artisan Breads.

According to Drago, the new Bakewise identity is a corporate name change only and does not reflect any changes in ownership or business operations. While the acquisition of Tom Cat Bakery is now complete and fully integrated, Tom Cat will remain a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bakewise.
